Nancy Kress, our Guest of Honor, has been nominated for a Best Novella 2009 Hugo Award for "The Erdmann Nexus" (Asimov's Oct/Nov 2008)

Yay! We have a date and venue. September 4th–6th, 2009. That's Friday through Sunday of Labor Day weekend. It wil be held at the lovely Bellingham Airport Hampton Inn. That's at 3985 Bennett Drive, Bellingham, WA, 98225, 360-676-7700. The room rate for the event will be $89/night.

ValhallaCon is the successor to VikingCon, the Bellingham SF/F convention. Like its predecessor, ValhallaCon will take place in Bellingham, Washington. The con chair is Echo Mae. Please watch this space and the Valhallacon LiveJournal Community for updates and announcements.
